EHF Welcomes new Finance team members

Empire Health Foundation (EHF) is pleased to welcome Janae Perkins as Senior Finance Director and Terrie Schucht as Controller to the EHF team.
Janae Perkins (she/her) joins EHF from Dirne Health Centers (Heritage Health), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), in Coeur d’Alene, ID where she served as Vice President of Finance.
“I am excited to join a team that is focused on improving the health of those within our community, through our equity healing framework,” Janae said. “I am also excited to be working with an organization that embraces many cultures, identities, and beliefs.”
Janae holds an MBA from Trevecca Nazarene University and a BA in Accounting from Tennessee State University. Outside of work, Janae and her husband own a catering company, RJ's So Southern BBQ & Catering, and teach her boys the catering business in between attending their sports activities.
Terrie Schucht (she/her) brings deep experience as a Controller in corporate and nonprofit settings. She most recently served as Controller at SharperLending Solutions (Xactus) and brings experience in investment accounting from her tenure at the Fairmount Memorial Association. She is a licensed CPA and holds a BS in Accounting from Eastern Oregon State University.
Outside of work, Terrie enjoys traveling, camping and hiking, hanging out with friends, attending concerts and sporting events, and chilling at home with her wife and their fur babies. Together they own NYNE Bar & Bistro in Spokane.

EHF is a private health conversion foundation formed in 2008 with philanthropic assets of approximately $103M, including $20M designated as a 501(c)(4).
