SCAR welcomes new Operations Director

Ivonne “Evee” Polanski
Operations Director, SCAR

Spokane Community Against Racism (SCAR) is pleased to announce that Evee Polanski (she/her) will join the organization as Operations Director starting December 2, 2024. Evee brings seven years of experience in operations management within the legal recruiting field and a passion for social justice and community-driven change. With her strong analytical skills and attention to detail, Evee has demonstrated the ability to implement operational systems in a growing company and has successfully overseen many complex projects. Her commitment to continuous improvement and staying up to date on best practices has earned her a reputation with her past employers as a forward-thinking and results-driven Operations Manager. Her leadership style based on collaboration, fostering a positive work environment, and empowering team members to reach their full potential impressed SCAR. As an Indigiqueer and BIPoC community member, she is excited to bring her values-focused leadership to build organizational capacity as SCAR continues to fight against racism, for Indigenous rights, housing reform, and police accountability, and she is looking forward to leading the organization in achieving its goals as their new Operations Director.

Evee and her family moved to Spokane in 2020 from Reno, drawn by the proximity of friends and the beauty of the inland Northwest. Outside of work, Evee enjoys working on home improvement projects, spending time with her family, hiking with her dog, cooking, and volunteering with local LGBTQIA2S+, Hispanic/Latino, and Immigrant Rights organizations.
